After the last few days of news, it's obvious that there is VERY little intelligent life around here.  The Obama Administration seems to have gotten itself caught with its' hand in the cookie jar not  just once, but twice, and reports are coming in of yet a third burgeoning scandal, just today.  

Lieutenant Uhura, open hailing frequencies, and get their spokesman on the main screen. . .

I mean, come on Jay, not even MSNBC believes you. . . .

And then, there's the IRS scandal which CONSERVATIVES reported in 2010, 2011, and 2012. . . and now EVERYONE finds it hard to believe that targeting "Tea Party" and "Patriot" groups, as well as pro-Constitution, anti-spending, and even pro-Israel groups was merely a coincidence.  And at the height of last year's campaign, 8 major Romney donors were castigated as "shady".  And, surprise, surprise, one of them gets not one, but TWO separate audits a few weeks thereafter. I mean, wearing a Red Shirt is one thing, but the IRS makes the Klingons look like Tribbles. . .

Friends, you don't need to do a Vulcan Mind-meld to see that SOMEONE has crossed the Neutral Zone. . . .


And to top it off. . . the IRS APOLOGIZED, and thought it was sufficient.  And the spokesman said she was "bad at math". . .   somehow, if YOU are bad at math on YOUR taxes, I don't think an apology will suffice, it will be off to Rura Penthe with you. . .

It should be obvious to any Trekker (But, apparently not to Maureen Dowd. . . ), that the President is NOT Spock. . . his actions have been, shall we say. . .  HIGHLY Illogical.   And for the remaining 3 1/2 years. . . .

OK, it's wishful thinking.   But, like Star Trek, I put MY hopes in. . . .
