But today, the 1% have SERIOUSLY pissed the Wizard off. Not for the usual conspicuous consumption, and brain-dead scions, but for a sin truly deserving of that Special Hell that Shepard Book warned us about in "Firefly". . .
It seems that rich Manhattan matrons don't want their precious children to wait in lines at Disney World, like the rest of us common scum do. No, they hire Handicapped Tour Guides, who are allowed to cut to the front of the line and bring 6 "family members" with them. . . . and what REALLY stinks, is that the mothers are being cheap, because these handicapped guides are cheaper than a REAL Disney Guide and a FastPass Plus. . .
Somebody has indeed earned a trip to that Special Hell. . .shoveling the Dumbo dung, no doubt. . .

And then, there's the Burning Stoopid that our University Elite do. Now, mind you, in my mundane life, I'm a working engineer. I value education. I make damned sure my kids are actually learning something with the tuition and books I pay for. . .
When THIS pops up, the "Heat Map of Hate". . .
Yep. Those EBIL RED STATES are just SEETHING with hateful tweets. . . until you look at the fine print. It turns out that the heat-map is relative. For example, the largest amounts of "hateful" tweets came from Orange County, California. . . . and yet the LA Basin barely shows, due to the huge amount of other Twitter traffic, mostly commercial (which are, generally, very carefully not racist/sexist/offensive/etc. . . .) , there. Likewise the SF Bay, DC, New York, Chicago, and Boston. So, if you actually put it by number of offensive Tweets, it would look more like this:
This is a heat map of the population (courtesy of NASA) . . . . which shows pretty much the same pattern, except for major commercial centers. And if you look at Twitter overall. . . .

So it's fairly obvious there's more than a little spin on the "Heat Map of Hate". . .
But even better, is the selection of "hate": they sampled on "racist" and "sexist" and anti-homosexual slurs. But, somehow, slurs on conservatives or Christians weren't measured. So, "Teabagger", "redneck", "bible-thumper", "gun-nut" or any of the other terms associated with those poor, unenlightened bitter clingers was not worthy of study. . .
******
But what did CNN lead with today ?? Yep. Angelina Jolie's elective double mastectomy. . . .
Me, I've got a funny feeling we've been here before. . . . because every day, Obama is looking more and more like. . . .
